Beaufort, North Carolina is the gateway to the Southern Outer Banks conveniently located on Carteret County's Crystal Coast.  Our beaches are clean and offer miles of beautiful sand that welcome you to swim, surf, scuba, sail, fish, tour, explore, kayak, walk, or just relax to enjoy both our glorious sunrises and sunsets!  It is the perfect vacation site but don't plan on spending just one day here passing through - there is just too much to see and do! No matter how long you stay...you'll wish you stayed longer

  If you are driving from the Morehead City area, the  Carteret County Home B&B is a short quarter mile from the intersection of Rte. 70 and NC Hwy. 101 in Beaufort-about 1.5 miles from Beaufort's waterfront.

     If you are coming from the New Bern area, take the shortcut in Havelock onto NC Hwy. 101 and you will go right by our front door. Honestly, you won't be able to miss us - look for a l-o-n-g white building with a green roof. Turn at our second sign (the big one!) and come around to the back where Charlotte (our loveable Golden Lab) will be eager to greet you!

     We are a easy 3 minute drive to downtown Beaufort continuing on Rte. 101 to the intersection of Rte. 70. From this point, all streets that lead East off of Rte. 70 will take you to the waterfront.
